I write because I have to. I do not like to write. Putting my thoughts on paper seems like a waste of time. I think writing makes me think about things in a different way, which is not always fun to do because it is really difficult. I find it hard to articulate my thoughts onto paper. For some people writing can be a great outlet to get their ideas out and to share them with others.

Well, Katie, hopefully we’ll find ways in which you can write and feel as if you aren’t wasting your time. I know certain modes of communication come more easily to us than others. One of my hopes is that you’ll find a form of writing that isn’t so painful!
