Why I Write

Posted on October 20, 2011 by

I write because sometimes my words sound better on paper than they do when I speak, or sometimes they don’t.  Writing pushes my limits, and it challenges me contemplate my ideas and beliefs further.  Writing censors my thoughts, and yet at the same time makes them more open to the world.  Writing is difficult for me, but at the same time, life without writing would be difficult.  Writing is art, a creative form of expression, which is difficult for me to argue against.  Writing allows my voice to be heard, however insignificant that might be, I am not really sure.   Writing makes a difference to me.
